Group Lessons

Hemispheres Music Studio is excited to offer group classes for all ages at the studio. Group learning is fun, social and a unique learning experience where students learn from each other as well as the instructor.

PIANO
The Simply Music piano method we offer at Hemispheres is wonderful taught in a group setting! Please contact us to ask about group piano lessons.

ADULT GUITAR WORKSHOP – “The Wire Choir”
The Hemispheres Music Studio’s “Wire Choir” is designed to give adult guitarists an opportunity to learn professionally arranged songs in a relaxed, small ensemble setting. Designed by Hemispheres co-founder and instructor Rob Cutting, the sessions outline all the skills aspiring guitarists need to play with other musicians. Watch your musical confidence explode as you become accustomed to playing great songs among a small band of supportive fellow strummers!

We are happy to accommodate anyone who “aspires to the wire.” Ukulele, mandolin, banjo and bass players are all welcome. If you happen to sing, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to put those skills to work, singing leads and harmonies. NOW WELCOMING – drummers and keyboard players!

We run 8 – week sessions in the Fall, Winter and Spring, with a special event at the end of each session. This could be a performance to play live in front of an audience, or a recording session in a professional studio.

For Spring 2024, we are running 4 sessions at following times:

Sundays 3:30 pm – 5pm, April 7th – June 9th (no sessions on May 12th and 19th for Mother’s Day and the long weekend)

Mondays 8:30pm – 10pm, April 8th – June 3rd (no session on Victoria Day, May 20th)

Tuesdays 8:30 – 10pm, April 16th – June 4th

Wednesdays 8:30 – 10 pm, April 17th – June 5th

FINAL EVENT DATE – SATURDAY JUNE 15TH, 2024!

If all sessions are sold out, please contact us as we may add an extra session or can place you on a waiting list for the next session!

All sessions are held in the studio at 3425 Harvester Rd, Burlington.

VOCAL WORKSHOPS – ADULTS & TEENS 

On Saturdays in the studio, we offer vocal classes for adults and teens with Marie Avery. Marie is an experienced vocalist and teacher who brings her knowledge and kind, supportive nature to these popular group classes.

The adult class (ages 16 and up) focuses on breathwork, vocal technique & harmonies, and takes a full-body approach to singing. We currently have one session for adults on Saturdays in the studio:
